SFO T1 Redevelopment Program

SFO T1 Redevelopment Program

The SFO Terminal 1 Redevelopment Program is a 10 year $2.4 billion program. The program includes renovating Terminal 1, demolishing and replacing Boarding Area B, 24 new aircraft gates, a new consolidated baggage handling system and temporary facilities. M Lee Corporation is providing cost estimating and scheduling support services on the SFO Terminal 1 Redevelopment Program as part of the T1 Partners JV program management team.

SFO Air Traffic Control Tower

SFO Air Traffic Control Tower

The new air traffic control tower is a twelve level, 221 foot tall project delivered via a design-build progressive GMP project delivery method. The project is pursuing a LEED Gold certification. M Lee Corporation, as part of the T2 Partners team (construction manager), provided cost estimating services, including milestone cost estimating from the start to completion of the project, including design milestone estimates, VE and options estimates, and change order estimates.

SFO Terminal 2/BA D

SFO Terminal 2/BA D

The $383 million program to renovate Terminal 2/Boarding Area D involved stripping much of the existing structure to its frame. The project added 14 new gates to the airport. In addition to the terminal work, the project includes seismic upgrade of the roadway in front of the terminal. The project was delivered using design-build, achieved LEED Gold Certification, and had no claims. M Lee Corporation provided a full range of cost estimating services, including milestone cost estimates, value engineering, estimates of options and alternatives, on-time cost feedback for better budget control, and on-time estimates for efficient cost control. Other support services in this area for the project include change order estimates, assistance in change order negotiation and settlement, and updated construction cost estimates for budget and cost control.

SFO West Field Cargo Facility

SFO West Field Cargo Facility

The West Field Cargo Facility project provides SFO a new modern cargo facility with warehouse and integrated office space. The $35 million, 112,520 square foot project achieved LEED Gold. As part of the CM team, M Lee Corporation provided cost estimating services including milestone estimates and independent bid package estimates.
